My Brothers

A Poem

Know that your sisters in Islam are aware
With feelings of a mothers love and care

Tear stained cheeks and sleepless nights
We beg Allah Al Muntaqim to unleash His might

On those who are unjust - for they will surely feel
With a swiftness that our Lord is real!

Whether you are far - whether you are near
Allah is with you - please do not despair

Like those before us, your paradise is in the making
Despair not my brothers, soon they will be shaking

Before their Lord questioned regarding their brutality
Allah cares not about a political technicality

No intercessors can help them no excuses can they make
Keep it together my brothers, for all of our sakes

Ya Muntaqim! I often pray
Give them a preview of judgement day!

Show them like the people of 'Ad
What it feels like to be erased by God

Gardens of eternal bliss await
They have no knowledge of your blessed fate

They can call us whatever it is that they desire
Their home will soon be the eternal hell fire

To them we are the misguided - the lost
We know better they will pay the ultimate cost

To Allah do all things return
Surely, they will reap what they have earned!

My brothers I pray
For your safe return!
